With the help of Cupid, I focus my stories in small towns and rural settings, although some of my characters are city dwellers. I am passionate about my writing with the support of my husband, Bill, family members, beloved friends, and all my writer friends from CaRWA and ARWA.
To relax after finishing a story, and needing a few days to think of another one, I will often set up my acrylic paints and paint on smooth river rocks, old plates and flat paint stir sticks. A fun hobby I share with my family.
Bill and I have lived in Manitoba, Alberta and now reside in northwestern Ontario with our sheltie mix dog, Lacey. Throughout the years, I have worked in a variety of careers. I decided to decrease my work hours, so I could pursue my dream of being a full-time writer.
Bill and I enjoy outdoor activities including canoeing, swimming, hiking in the forest, sitting on a dock listening to the call of the loons, and watching bald eagles soar in a blue sky. A bonus when our grandchildren can join us between their studies and busy schedules. A favorite family time, is gathering around a camp fire, roasting marshmallows, whether it be summer or winter.
